Just wanted to post a little note here. <3  Things are still rather rough and hectic for the family at the moment, so I haven't had much of a chance to post any entries or comments lately.  I apologize, and I hope to catch up with everyone soon.  <3  Also have some lovely pictures of my resin babies that I'm dying to share.  Maybe I'll try and get those posted this weekend. ^_~

I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to comment lately. It's still rather crazy at the moment (but things are starting to look better finally!). Honestly I cannot wait for this month to be over, it's been a nightmare. Just wanted to say thank you so much for all of the support. <3

I'll post again soon, probably after Christmas since I'll be with the family most of the time. And it's such a long story with all that went on, so I won't go into it now. I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Oh!  And Arashi (Bygg) came home today!  What a wonderful, unexpected (and much needed) Christmas surprise!  He's so adorable! <3  Will post pics soon!

Ugh! Wake up to find about 3" of snow this morning (complimented with a migraine that just won't quit :p ). Mnemosyne is home and she looks awesome, so I wanted to post some pictures of her today -- but that didn't happen. It's as dark as midnight out and it might as well be the same inside (I *hate* our lighting!). Hopefully I'll be able to get some pictures tomorrow. Not a good day...

I really hope to make her complete soon. Koneko will be a little panther rather than a wolf - I love the wolf idea, but I'm not holding my breath that Soom will release a chibi kitty with Afi/Ai (and if they do, I'll just have two!). I have her upper paws and calves blushed, but still need to do her lower paws. I never realized that it's more difficult to evenly blush smooth resin without any textures, her calves were so much easier. I hope to finish them soon. She'll receive a pair of resin ears (on order, hopefully coming soon), and I still need to order some ED eyes. She's borrowing Reno's eyes at the moment (poor eyeless smexy guy, hehe). Also I hope to one day find Hati's default outfit, it's irresistibly cute and should work quite lovely with her.

I've been so drawn into all the new lovelies as of late (especially Soom's tinies, they're killing me >_<).  Because of which all of my funds have been going into the new MDs, rather than into my current bjd family, which are in need of items themselves.  Poor things, despite getting attention, they're not getting spoiled like they should be.  And because I am so scatterbrained, I really need to stop and think about what they do need.  So, heh, I'm making a shopping list for each of them, and *hopefully* I'll be able to cross off items from their lists sometime soon (maybe?).  More than anything, this is a reminder *poke* to myself.  Sorry if it seems more like I'm talking more to myself out loud, but that's really what it is. ^^

Speaking of MDs, I was able to pick up a Hati recently.  She ended up being (a slightly belated) birthday present to myself.  I am so in love with her, her mold is incredibly cute.  Because of which I would love a Skoll now, but seriously I should be looking into other things first (if I could even find him).  I am absolutely dreading next month's MD.  Kohaku's love (who's currently not a bjd yet) is a character with bird and feather features, and has a very similar look to Yrie actually (same sad expression).  If Galena ends up looking anything like Yrie, I'll really be in trouble!  I hope she's grey or black resin like everyone on DoA is hoping, then I'll be safe.  I'm really trying to stay away from any future unplanned resin purchases.  The tinies already are killing me!  And I know the Amber/Io tiny is going to be uber-cute, so I know I'll have to go for that one.  *sigh*  Please Galena, please make me hate you...

Haha, yeah I suck at using this (it's been almost a year OMG! x_x;; ).  Somebody needs to constantly poke me with a big sharp stick so I can stay updated. XD  So... my bjd family has doubled since I last post?  And it can all be summed up like this -- I am so soomed... >_<;;

I need to see more of him though.  I hope those winged things aren't his ears... ><  Please gawd no!  I hope he has ears like Beryl's or Onyx (or even Sard's).  Also hoping he doesn't come in the grey skin only, which is what he appears to be in the pics.  He would be paired up with my Onyx, however, Iluka is not meant to have the grey skin. :p  Please have the white skin option.  Or normal!!  Damn I'm patient, I need more info!  As much as I love Lu-wen to death, CP boy bodies are just, ick.  And this is... this is Super Gem.  The hotness.  *mmmm... must stroke him...*

Plus, I cannot wait for the Chichi fullset to come out so I can order her as well. I will be doing her faceup though, I'm not really liking the default (the eyebrows are WAY too high!).

Oh! Oh! And dragon-mania is back! Thanks to members of DoA and dear
rory_aka_spike  , I am now hooked on the little pixelated dragon eggs. Maybe they'll live to grow up to be vicious adult dragons and spread havoc (or be nice dragons who breathe sugar-free mints, who knows ^_~ ).

Well, I did it. >.<  My first puki is on order.  Eeep!  The Basilah Amir package -- he's so cute.  I just need a little name for him.  He's going to be my little viking scrap (I *looove* vikings, next to pirates).  Plundering, and pilaging.  I still need a name for him.  I hope I can order my Pipi and Piki soon so he can have some other pukis to terrorize (I do have names already picked out for them -- Apple and Mint Tea ^^ ).

My Tanning Godo still hasn't shipped yet. ^^;;;  I'm really getting impatient.  It's been so nice out (OMG almost 70 degrees here -- freak), so I'm missing out on some great photo days.  And now they're calling for snow again early next week. *sobs*  At least I was able to spray Seto's head with MSC.  So I should be able to pastel him up and hopefully put him back together this weekend.  Eeep!  I miss my boy!  *sniff*  But still, I want my Godo to ship.  I want to hug him, and squeeze him, and pet him, and call him George.  Come on Soom, dammit!!  Quit making promises you can't keep!!!

Zoe's been loving the warm weather.  She's been spending most of her time outdoors, trying to find whatever she can find to roll in.  Let's just say...  SHE STINKS!  She smells like barn. @_@  I guess I'll be giving her a bath shortly. *sigh*

OMG it is seriously becoming the year of the BJD for me.  Seriously.  I only really planned on purchasing a couple bjds at a time, but so many lovelies are being released, and it's only April, it's just too damn tempting.  I'm drowning!  Where do I begin?  First, I'm becoming a minimee junkie!  First it was Cloud (I mean come on, its Cloud, it was my birthday, it's Cloud, I cannot pass him up, it's Cloud --btw, his faceup should be done soon *beaming*).  And then what would Cloud be without a villian?  Since I missed out on Sephiroth -- I was sleeping, yeah, that filled up in 1 hour -- so it has to be Kadaj, yum.  And then there's Link -- I'm an uber Zelda nut, so I cannot pass him up -- I live to pull on his ears.  And then there's Reno.  I live and breathe only for Reno.  Dead sexy Reno.  My taeyang is not enough, I need a bjd version of him O-M-G!  Hehe.  I'm so excited!

Then of course Fairyland had to produce these irresistibly sweet tooth rotting little wallet mongers, the pukis, where, you cannot have just one!  My heart, and my bank account has officially been vaporized by these little sweethearts.  But Fairyland doesn't stop there.  No.  They further reach their sticky fingers into the heart of my screaming bank account with the so-cute-you-can-stab-my-eye-out pukisha basilah amir.  And while he's supposed to be arabian (I think), he is destined to be my viking bandit! (even though I'm near broke and I shouldn't ;_; ).  Now I just need a good norwegian name for him. ^_^  And how does Fairyland come in for the kill?  Releasing Woosoo and Miyu + all new all better all poseable mini fee bodies coming soon.  I have no blood left to bleed.

In the meantime, Luts just released the picture of their new delf, Jess.  OMG, could it possibly be true?  For months, I have been looking for a good mold for a character of mine, Luka, but to no avail.  I was beginning to think that Luka might not come to be (as I am not about to spend hundreds of $$ for a mold that isn't right).  But Jess, might possibly work.  I need to see more pictures!  Luts you are such a tease!  Please post more!  And for heaven's sake, please do NOT make Jess a LIMITED! (which I have a bad feeling he may be >_< )

So it's only been a few months into the new year, and my wishlist has grown considerably *sigh*.  There goes my original plan of keeping my bjd collection small (oh well *grin* ).  In another note, while I do not collect pullips as much anymore, I did happen to catch what could possibly be the July release of Pullip and Taeyang -- let's just say my bank account is in deep trouble there as well.  ;_;  Not a good year for finances, but a great year for the collections. 

On top of all that, my husband and I got a new car this past week!  Yay!  I no longer have to worry about him driving that old deathtrap.  On the downside, we have to budget our spending, so it means some resin might have to wait. :(  Oh well. 

Finally, Soom said my Nikkos might be shipping soon.  Oh I really hope so.  I cannot wait to see him! ^_^  I'm so excited!  One girl who ordered her Tan Godo the same time I did received hers long ago, and I've been drooling over him ever since.  I am so ready for my boy to come home.  Oh!  And FINALLY it's going to be warm this week!  So I can break out the MSC and give Seto a touch-up.  Eeep!  I'm so excited!  I feel bad as his head's been staring at me for a while "hurry up and fix me chibi!!"  Finally I can! ^_^

Not a good day today ;_;

First and foremost, there's been an accident with Seto. I had him out today with me; I wanted him to keep me company while I did my work. And he was looking pretty bitchin' with his new(ish) outfit. Zoe, my corgi girl, normally leaves my taller dolls alone, so I don't mind when she's around them. But today she decided to check Seto out, and accidentally knocked him over. His head slammed into our iron bar glass coffee table *BOOM!!!*. I immediately freaked as the force of impact would've easily broken something. Fortunately, no broken resin. But... Seto has an ENORMOUS black scratch running across the left side of his face. ;_;    I have pictures of the damage, but I just don't have the heart right now to upload the pictures.  I will try to later.
Anyway, I checked out DoA, and the advice there states to use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (thank God I still have one!).  Supposively light strokes with a dry sponge will take off stains without taking off any of the faceup.  Unfortunately, as I've later learned, the black scratches are too deep.  I am fortunate enough that they are NOT in the resin itself, but unfortunately, they are NOT able to come off without taking some of Seto's faceup off as well. ;_;  *sigh*  What can you do?  I cannot leave him like that!  So after being very, very careful, I was successfully able to get the scratches off of Seto's face.  But I did lose quite a bit of Seto's blushing in the process. (I will try and post pictures tomorrow, I'm sorry I don't have them now ^^ ).  I'm really heartbroken as I *adore* the faceup DOD gave him, but honestly for the damage, it is not worth $50 to have it replaced.  As nervous as I am about it, I am going to have to try and repair it myself.  I have given many faceups to my pullip dolls, but never to a resin bjd before. ^^  Luckily my batch of MSC just came in -- but unfortunately it's too damn cold to use it!  Ugh!  It's going to kill me having Seto's half-blushed head sitting here, staring at me, "chibi, why did you do this to me?"  *sigh*

And to make matters worse, my husband's car is broken down.. again.  I swear the thing is cursed (or just hates me).  Normally, it wouldn't be bothering me so much, but last week was Soom's FFD with the uber-sexy Tan Godo.  I failed to mention this in my LJ, but I did decide he would be perfect for my Nikkos, so I did end up purchasing him (yay! at the time).  But because of the car trouble, I'm having MAJOR guilt issues.  My husband always tells me not to worry, that I shouldn't let these things get in the way of what I love (as a lot of times, when we're in financial troubles I will sell some of my stuff -- and it bothers him to see me do so ).   But I cannot help but worry.  After all, bjds shouldn't be a priority, ne?  I just hope the estimate isn't too bad -- the worst part about it is, we do not know what is wrong with the darn thing.  *kicks stupid car*  Not a great way to end the week.  I was hoping to order my pukis in the next couple weeks (a pipi and a piki), but that's probably not going to happen for a long while now. ;_;

Back to the Seto issue real quick, I feel kind of bad.  Just as a note, I did not chastise Zoe, honestly she didn't know any better (she's only a dog) and it was my fault for not paying closer attention.  I didn't yell at her in the least.  But it was really funny because you could tell by the way she was acting the rest of the day, she knew something was wrong.  She just had this look on her face "Mom, I'm so sorry", and would cuddle up to me for the rest of the day.  She just knew.  She's so smart sometimes, it really amazes me. *hugs Zoe*

I just hope something good comes soon (maybe a Soom shipping notice??  yeah right...   How about just a warm day so I can start to work on Seto's faceup...  :p )

Why, why do I torture myself? I happened to check Soom's site last night, and I happen to catch who will be their next month's for-five-day dolls. TAN GODO!!! Omigosh, I have been in love with this boy for like, forever. *_* It's been ages (for me anyway) since they had him up for sale last (and for a while Soom said they didn't know when they'd sell him again) so I figured, not anytime soon -- if ever. Since then, I've fallen for Normal Godo (with a custom faceup) as he will be perfect for a character of mine. I was planning on ordering him this week. And then I see this (TAN GODO!!). I still love him like before, but unfortunately he doesn't fit any of my characters -- and right now that's what I'm trying to stick to -- to stay away from the impulse buying. Ugh! And of course, I can't afford to order them both right now. ;_; *sigh* the agitator in me is saying "he might not be for sale again, this may be your last chance!" Damn you, pesky agitator, damn you! So now I don't know what to do. I want to order my Nimh, but now there's TAN GODO tugging on my heartstrings. (AND..to make it worse, the other FFD bjd next month is 6th Sea Gena, another one I've secretly loved *sigh*). Soom, how I love you... but alas, it is a forbidden love...

The weather and life have not been co-operating as well as I would've hoped lately. I've actually had my new girl for over a week now, but haven't been able to post any pictures of her. But I'm tired of waiting, so I thought I'd at least share a couple. ^_~

But anyway, my newest girl, a mini fee Shushu, has arrived! ^_^ I've been dreaming of her for a very long time, and I'm so thrilled that she's finally home. Her name is Navi (nah-vee) and she's already made herself quite at home (and has made poor Welsper, rather smitten over her-- more on that later). Here are just a couple quick shots of her, just to share.





I promise, more will come soon. Unfortunately now, work has left me drowning. @_@

Also, to come: Seto actually received a match in Perfect Match! ^_^ And to a very pretty Soom Dillui too (*sigh* I love Soom's molds). I'm so excited! I didn't think he'd be lucky this round, as the voting didn't seem to go his way. More on that later!

And... my Shushu's home! I haven't been able to get any shots of her yet, as the lighting has been horrible all weekend long. Sigh, I really hate winter, especially Great Lakes winter, peh. Maybe tomorrow will have some sunshine (pleeease! I'm dying here). Also, Luts fitted her with 16mm eyes, which, in my opinion, she looks rather scary with O_o;;; so I'm hoping her 14mm eyes will come tomorrow too. Then she'll be ready for a little photoshot. Haha, I've purchased so many cloth items for her ahead of time, it's so fun now, that I can actually put them on her. ^_^
I've been torn on what I was going to name her, I had a few names in mind, but it's one of those where you need to wait until she's here to see what fits her best. Actually, there was a name I wanted for her for a *loooong* time, but then later realized someone on DoA actually named their Shushu with the same name. So I didn't really want to use a name someone else had, even though it was coincidental (I did NOT rip it off :p~ ). But she fits it so well, I might have to name her it anyway. *ugh*

I guess I've been a bad girl.  I can't believe July was the last time I replied in this thing.  Well, since then, my bjd family consists of Ilia (Elf Ira), Seto (H Ducan), Welsper (Si) -- yes, my cute kitty boy finally came in!, and Ko (Baha) -- my sweet kitty girl-- literally, ha.  Oh!  And some uber-cute clothing, which I will share at another time. =^^=

I really hope my V. Kirill is shipped soon (this week??  I hope I hope).  I was excited to hear that DOD would start shipping them, according to order placed and payment time.  Rilly's boys as well as mine were ordered within a few minutes of DOD's update, so I would hope they'd ship soon.  Though it seems that the Ivan's are shipping first?  He's really cute too, I hope I don't regret not picking him up.  I planned on having a few MSD-sized boys, but it seems now I might become overrun with them.  ^^;;  I was hoping that Kirill would be here in time for my birthday, but unless DOD shipped him without our knowledge, that won't be happening *sigh*.  I don't know what to name him now!!  I was all set to call him Vaati, but now I'm really getting attached to Enki.  I guess I'll have to wait and see which one he's grows into. :p

Mmmm...  I've been watching Soom's FFD page, as I'm curious about their updates; I really want to see what Vega's like.  Sabik is so darn cute, he's one of those "if I won the lottery" dolls.  But he'd would miniaturize the rest of my dolls, even Seto, hehe.  And then there's the 80cm Mecha angels, eep!!  I don't think I could have a BJD that's nearly as tall as I am! O_o  It's awkward enough caring Seto around (sweet Ko, thank goodness your tiny pocket travel size).  Anyway, but more than anything though, I love Soom's Godo.  I mean, I LOVE him.  His white skin version especially.  And since Soom is one of the few that offers layaway = stay away, hehe.  Though I think I'd rather have a tanning Godo (of course I missed him as he was a previous FFD).  So I'll have to keep an eye out on DoA for him.  So... hard....to .....resist.....

Though in the meantime, I can focus on another boy.  I was thinking Kirill would be my last for a little while.  Errr wrong!!  I am so excited!  Being a huge FFVII and AC fan, I'm shocked, stunned, and oh so ecstatic..  my very own Cloud will be coming to me in January! O_O  Hehe, I didn't plan on having another SD boy for a long while, but OMG, it's CLOUD!!  Hehe, poor Seto.  You know Ilia will ditch him as soon as Cloud comes in.  XD  I can't wait to see him.  Now I just hope and pray that I can commission a certain makeup artist for him.  Ugh, waiting is so hard! >_<
